What an amazing weekend in NYC with great friends. We had so much fun walking through Manhattan and experiencing the Big Apple once again. 

Surprisingly, with a sprinkle of luck, the weather was incredible! It wasn't too cold, but cold enough to keep the snow on the ground and this girl hanging up her bathing-suits and skirts in Florida and rocking her winter outfits in the city's snow. Since I am a Florida girl I rarely see snow, so it was so much fun playing in it in Central Park. We all were like kids for that moment. Plus, as some of my pics can slightly show, the views were breathtaking!

The trip would not be complete without two on my besties by my side. =)

New York City is one of my favorite places on earth, and it allows this southern girl to wear her faux fur vest. I love the versatility of this vest, and it is extremely comfy. It was a little windy and cold out, but this vest kept me very warm. 

I was very happy with how these photos turned out and a change of atmosphere from sunny and warm Florida. My friend Stephanie lives off Wall street in Manhattan and she did such a good job capturing these photos.

 I would love to share more, but I'm on vacation in New York City! I promise I will post another blog before I leave though ;)

I had a wonderful weekend shopping and getting ready for my New York trip this week!

 I have posted two outfits that I wore this weekend for all of you. I just love these two outfits, and they can be worn practically anywhere. Comment to let me know what you think of these them. =)

The second outfit is all old (no longer in the stores) clothes. I pulled them out of my closet and I couldn't believe I hadn't worn them in forever. 

The nail color is "Pink Shock" by Maybelline, and the lip color is "Enchantress" by Cover Girl.

I am guilty of being one of those girls who loves sequins. I could wear sequins everyday, and living in the south sequins are always an option. :)

My J. Crew Rose Necklace is one of my favorite pieces with sequins  and I think it goes great with a little arm candy. I have on my Rose Gold Michael Kors watch with matching rose gold charm bracelet my husband got me for Christmas. I figure if i'm going to wear sequins and shine why not do the same with my jewelry! 

So how about you play with mixing and matching your sequins and colors and let me know what you like.

Lips Maybelline Red Revel 

Sometimes skinny jeans and a cute sweater is all you need. Winter sweaters are always fun to play with as I don't get the opportunity too much here in Florida, but you can simply look glam in just a sweater and jeans all year around. Whether it's a light sweater in Spring or a dressy jacket during Fall you can always decorate yourself in sweaters. I love this detailed sweater I got from Anthropologie, but then again I love anything with jewels on it! 
This sweater does the job to keep you warm yet fashionable, which you've gotta have both!

 My thoughts on Winter - as much as I love to see it, I can stand to watch it go - Look out for my upcoming light spring sweaters along with many other outfits to come in one of my favorite times of the year, Spring. ;)

I am in love with them all!

I just love waking up and accessorizing my outfit for the day. It's my coffee (next to Starbucks) and a passion I hope to one day turn into a career. I do not mind investing in some great pieces that I know I will wear over and over. Fashion Jewelry is a great way to show off your style. It simply makes you feel all warm and confident inside; well at least it does for me. =)

I feel it is easier to tell what the pieces will look like when you see them in everyday light and on a person. What do you think?
